“We went to Komodo Island for a three days private boat trip in March 2015 with Louis. It was the best choice we could have made. What an amazing tour! Magnificent scenery, spectacular underwater spots and millions of stars accompanied us at night. We did the tour with Louis, an english speaking guide from Labuan Bajo. Louis himself grew up in a deserted village of Flores and he is familiar with all questions regarding living conditions of the people and nature in this region. For some time he had worked as a ranger on komodo island. Because of this he is also an expert on Komodo Dragons.
He supplied us with much information and we learned a lot about living in this region of the world. We had really good discussions and much fun. If somebody had a problem, Louis found a solution. In each situation he guided us with good mind and humor. Thank you Louis for the good time we all had!”
“My mom and I spent 11 days in Labuan Bajo. Louis was our guide for every trip we did. After taking us to see the Komodos, pink beach and snorkeling, we didn’t want any other guide. He is the best guide I have ever had. He is more like a friend than a guide though, it’s just like traveling with a friend that just happens to know everything about the island haha. He has a genuine passion for his homeland and acts as though it’s the first time he’s been there. He is extremely caring and loves to learn about you and your country. He’s very educated and will explain everything and anything you see. His tours are like no one else’s, they’re customized to what you want and he’s very flexible. He cares about each guest and is always making sure they are comfortable and happy.
After the Komodo trip he took us to see the spider rice fields, a locals simple house, the market and the hobbit cave. A few days later he took us on bikes to the Cunta Rami Waterfall. We braved the weather and got a little wet but warmed up with some tea and noodle soup at a local restaurant that really never sees tourists. He also took us to the Twin Mirror Cave on bikes and showed us around Labuan Bajo. We got to meet his family and they even took us out to the Fish Market for dinner on our last night! I recommend Louis a million times over and would rate him 100 stars if I could. So if you’re looking to see real Indonesia without all the schedules, hit Louis up, you’ll be glad you did!”

“My daughter and I spent over a week in Labuan Bajo with Louis. He is great! Everything you could ask for in a guide; friendly, knowledgeable, kind, flexible and accommodating. Since I was the one in the group with the most “life experience,” he always kept an extra eye on me, asking if I was comfortable or if I needed anything. He really does go above and beyond. He makes it seem as though you are just traveling with a worldly friend. I would recommend him to everyone! He let us see a part of Indonesia most will never, and he definitely got me out of my comfort zone a few times haha but I wouldn’t trade those experiences for the world.
Thanks a million Louis! See you next time.”

“I visited Flores for a 3D2N tour with Louis. We enjoyed the experience and had a great, friendly crew. Louis gave us a reasonable price and checked up on us throughout the trip. Louis is approachable and flexible and his communication was great throughout the trip.
I highly suggest the 3D2N tour of Komodo Islands with Louis!”

“After arriving in Labuan Bajo and spending a couple of days there we planned our journey across Flores. Luckily we bumped into Louis! After discussing a rough plan he picked us up the next morning with a car and his friend and driver Yohan. During our one week trip from Labuan Bajo to Maumere Louis showed us not only the spectacular sights of Flores but also the culture and the way of life of the locals. We got to see Indonesia from a different angle and got in touch with a lot of interesting people. Louis provided a lot of background information to various sights and he seems to know everything about Flores and the Komodo Islands. He was also really spontaneous, after a couple of days we decided to add one or two days to our journey and visit another destination which was far off the beaten track. In that week we had a wonderful time together guided by our friends Louis and Yohan. If you visit Flores or the Komodo Islands then contact Louis for an extraordinary experience!”
“We were a Danish group travelling with Lois as our local guide. We saw a whole different side of Indonesia, than you would usually see as a tourist. He showed us beautiful nature; waterfalls, volcanoes, nice beaches and rice fields. But besides the nature we also experienced how the locals lived their lives and we learned about their culture. We stayed at different local homes where they prepared traditional Indonesian meals for us. And then we of course had to see the Komodo dragons.
If you are thinking about visiting Indonesia, you should consider having Louis as your guide. He is good in English (which the locals are not), he knows the Island like you know your own backyard and he is loyal and friendly.”
“I went with Louis in 2015, and he was an incredible Guide. We had such a great time together, it feels like a friend guiding you rather than a normal tour.
And he knows a lot of stuff, he can tell you about the most incredible stuff, which you would never had thought about if you went by yourself.
Take a trip with Louis, you will not regret it!”
